Theme-based Curriculum

Our Warrior of Virtue Program is an age and ability-appropriate, specially-designed training program that teaches more than just martial arts. Based on this age group’s ability to understand more technical instruction combined with their eagerness to learn, this program is focused on teaching tae kwon do skills; physical and otherwise.

 

Age-Appropriate Classes

Based on the children’s ability to understand more technical instruction combined with their eagerness to lean, this program becomes more focused on learning martial art skills. Elements of our adult curriculum are periodically implemented to further challenge the children both physically and mentally. 

 

Time:

Mondays & Thursdays, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Age Appropriate Needs

 

Developed gross motor skills, coordination & body-space awareness. Ample fine motor skills. 

Linear processing & cognition (math), refinement of elements of language.

Proficient group skills w/capability of affecting others through persuasion and manipulation.

Inner speech - control of social behavior.

Teaching style can be more mature, without animation, and with more "hard work" instead of just "play," challenging them to do more.
